Llorena

She leached stridence from her offsprings’ illness.
Her energy felt like math & shrillness.

Her greed needed the badge of a martyr.
To be well, they did need to outsmart her.

Two made it out & one also made up.
Sadly, one stayed; & still, with poison sups.

All her patients now gone or dying.
All her happiness tied up in crying.

She was a twisted Florence Nightingale.
Now, all she has is grief to feed her wail.

I see the world through a Painter’s eyes and process it with a Poet's Heart....it's quite a harsh place for the soul. It scratches and wears your true self down, at times, but the Beauty is Addictive. I feel for everyone I encounter. Everyone I encounter is a teacher if I'll let them be. I Empathize with everyone I talk to & I Think about Everything-LEVi
