So…a continent can be covered in guns.
Just…why he wants Canada as fifty-one.

So…a whole country falls ill in one man’s-grasp.
Just…why they hired the nepo anti-vax rasp.

So…the fringe is purged from half a hemisphere.
Just…why they’re out for the old, colors & queer.

So…we see links between thug regimes & us.
Just…why they paraded their militant lust.

So…that all  get a sip from freedom’s fair cup.
Just…why millions more of us showed the fuck up.
